Southern Rockies Fire Science Network

Southern Rockies Fire Science Network SRFSN supports and exchanges information about wildland fire science to researchers, fire managers, and other wildland fire knowledge seekers.

SRFSN is user-driven, where scientists and managers work together on critical wildland fire issues. We are committed to two-way communication, serving as neutral science partners using workshops, field trips, webinars, demonstration sites, social media and digital communication to draw together divergent research and resource-management cultures, citizens and community groups to develop solutions

to our regions’ fire issues. SRFSN is one of 14 national consortia funded through a grant from the Joint Fire Science Program: an interagency research, development, and applications partnership.
