Hope Starts Here. The goal is to help people become productive, self-sufficient members of the community.

Fort Collins Rescue Mission provides emergency services to those experiencing homelessness in Fort Collins, including: overnight shelter and hot meals. In addition to hot meals and overnight shelter, FCRM provides a short-term transitional program for adult men and women called Steps to Success.

Another week of construction!
Roofing, floor polishing, painting, and concrete work are all underway, and the building is coming together more every day.
With each new milestone, we’re getting closer to opening our new home base and providing more resources, dignity, and shelter to our community than ever before.

❓When a sudden and unexpected hardship comes, who do you turn to for support?

For many families in our community, a lack of support can put them at risk of homelessness.

That’s where Fort Collins Rescue Mission’s Prevention program steps in.

After a death in the family, “S” and her children suddenly had to leave the home they shared with their grandparents. As a single mom, "S" was struggling to balance starting a new job, getting her children settled into a new school and keeping up with rent.

When her children’s school connected her with FCRM, timely financial and case management support helped their family remain housed. Today, they are still thriving.❤️

One year later, our Mission is still strong.❤️

It has been one year since a fire caused extensive damage to our Fort Collins Rescue Mission building on Jefferson Street. This past year has brought tremendous change for our guests, staff, volunteers, and donors. As Seth Forwood, Executive Director of Northern Colorado, shared just days after the fire, one thing has remained true:

“Even though our building is damaged, our Mission is not damaged.”

Now, we’re looking ahead with hope and excitement. As we prepare for our new home base at the Homeless Resolution Center come early 2027, we’re grateful for everyone who has helped us get here.

Construction is moving full speed ahead at our new Homeless Resolution Center!

Over the past week, exciting progress has continued across the site:

• Siding and brick installation are transforming the south building.
• Exterior painting is underway on the north building, with paint preparation beginning on the south building.
• Site work continues with grading and curb installation, and the first lift of asphalt is scheduled for the north parking lot next week.
• Inside, drywall finishing and installation are progressing through the dorms while insulation, elevator installation, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work continue throughout the building.
