Thanks to a generous donor, Samaritan House Fort Collins now has a new commercial washer and two dryers, ensuring guests experiencing homelessness always have clean bedding. After years of dedicated use—first by the Colorado Rockies, then Fort Collins Rescue Mission, and finally by our shelter—our old machines have been retired.

To mark this special gift, Fr. Barnabas blessed the new machines, reminding us that even simple acts of service, like washing laundry, reflect God’s love.

🌟 After 19 years of homelessness, David finally has a place to call home—and a renewed sense of purpose. At St. Valentine Apartments, he’s found stability, community, and the opportunity to embrace his passion for art.

Volunteers who regularly donate their time to serving meals at Samaritan House Greeley (Catholic Charities - Serving Larimer and Weld County) and the Housing Navigation Center’s Overnight Shelter attended a training last week!

This training, provided by North Range Behavioral Health, covered Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their impact. Afterward, volunteers heard from Catholic Charities, the Genesis Project of Northern Colorado, and United Way to learn more about what homelessness looks like in Weld County and how they can help.
