When your teen is struggling, getting help shouldn’t depend on your ability to pay.

Many Northern Colorado families delay therapy because they’re worried about the cost. The reality is that affordable, high-quality mental health care does exist and there are often more options available than people realize. (Turning Point Center)

In our newest blog, we break down:
• What “sliding scale” therapy actually means
• How Medicaid and insurance can help cover services
• Questions to ask when searching for a provider
• Why affordable care does not mean lower-quality care
• Resources available right here in Northern Colorado (Turning Point Center)

At Turning Point, we believe behavioral healthcare should be accessible, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based treatment for every family. We offer a sliding fee scale, accept Medicaid and many insurance plans, and work to reduce barriers to care for youth, families, individuals, and the broader community.

If you’ve been putting off reaching out because of cost concerns, this article is for you.

🌈 Turning Point Celebrates Pride Month 🌈

At Turning Point, we believe every person deserves to feel seen, valued, respected, and supported.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals in our communities. We are committed to fostering environments where everyone can feel safe being themselves and where differences are met with understanding, compassion, and dignity.

Our mission is rooted in supporting youth, families, individuals, and the broader community. That means creating spaces where people are welcomed, heard, and empowered to thrive.

This month and every month, we stand for inclusion, respect, and belonging.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

🏀 A big THANK YOU to for supporting our Greeley location!

Back in November, Scheels generously donated $150 toward the purchase of a new basketball hoop for our Greeley site. Thanks to their support and additional contributions that helped bring the project across the finish line, we were able to purchase, install, and officially put the new hoop into service.

This isn’t just a basketball hoop. It’s another opportunity for youth, families, individuals, and community members to connect, stay active, build confidence, and create positive memories together.

Community partnerships like this help us continue improving our programs and spaces so we can better serve those who walk through our doors every day.

Thank you, Scheels, for investing in our community and helping make a difference in Greeley. We appreciate your support and partnership!

We are incredibly grateful to the Fort Collins Foothills Rotary Club for awarding Turning Point $500 to support additional safety and emergency preparedness supplies across our facilities.

This funding came in response to a staff training provided through Fort Collins PD, where we learned of additional items needed to strengthen our existing active shooter preparedness efforts. Because of community partners like Rotary, we are able to continue creating safer spaces for the individuals, youth, families, and communities we serve every day.

Thank you for investing in preparedness, safety, and the well-being of our teams and community. 💙

We are grateful to receive support through the Walmart Spark Good Local Grant program for two important community initiatives serving Northern Colorado.

The Walmart store located at 1250 E. Magnolia St. in Fort Collins awarded a $500 grant in support of the Community Cupboard initiative.

Additionally, the Walmart store located at 7500 E. Crossroads Blvd. in Loveland awarded a $250 grant to support client incentives for Loveland clients.

These funds will directly help strengthen support efforts within our local community, and we appreciate the investment in initiatives that serve individuals and families across Northern Colorado.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that mental health is not just “someone else’s” struggle. It impacts people all around us every single day.

Behind the smiles, routines, careers, parenting, friendships, and responsibilities, many people are quietly battling anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, loneliness, and emotional pain that often goes unseen.

Mental health challenges do not discriminate. They affect individuals, families, youth, parents, coworkers, students, and entire communities.

At Turning Point, we believe no one should have to walk through those struggles alone.

This video shares the heart behind the services, support, and community that Turning Point provides right here in Northern Colorado. From recovery support and peer connection to resources, education, and hope, these programs are helping people rebuild their lives and feel seen, supported, and connected again.

Mental health support is not a luxury. It is essential.

We encourage you to take a few moments to watch this video, learn more about our mission, and help us continue serving individuals, families, and our community.

If you feel called to support this mission, donations can be made through the link in our bio.

Your support helps provide hope, healing, connection, and resources to people who need it most.

$60,547.22 raised at the 6-7 Soirée… and it meant so much more than a number.

Friday night was a powerful reminder of what a true village looks like.

Every sponsor.
Every silent auction donor.
Every business that said yes.
Every volunteer.
Every person who showed up, gave, bid, supported, and believed in the mission.

It took all of you.

And then Amy stood up and shared her story… and reminded us exactly why this work matters.
Why showing up matters.
Why this community matters.

Because behind every dollar raised is a life being supported. A family being strengthened. A young person being given a chance.

That’s what the village does.

And this was just year one.

Northern Colorado… this is what it looks like when a community comes together.

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of it, with all of you.

Thank you for showing up. 🤍
