When flooding happens, every second counts.

May 24–30 is Flood Awareness Week; take steps now to stay safe.

Be prepared:
🧰 Make a plan and build an emergency kit
⬆️ Move to higher ground immediately when it floods
πŸŒ™ Never sleep near waterways during storm season

And remember it’s a car, not a boat.
πŸš— Turn around, don’t drown
🌊 Just 6 inches of water can knock you down
πŸš™ 12 inches can carry away a vehicle

Whether you're driving, walking or biking, don’t take chances with floodwaters! Visit FortCollins.gov/Flooding to learn more.
