A department of the City of Fort Collins, FC Moves works to create a safe and healthy community by enabling more people to choose sustainable ways to move through our city. FC Moves provides year-round programs for all ages and hosts special events that encourage biking, walking, transit, shared rides, and other sustainable travel options for transportation and recreation. FC Moves also partners w

ith local businesses, schools, and event organizers to provide transportation demand management planning. This work helps reduce traffic and parking impacts while improving access and mobility for employees, residents, and visitors. These efforts have helped Fort Collins earn national recognition, including Platinum Bicycle Friendly Community status from the League of American Bicyclists.

Tomorrow is Bike to Work Day!

Whether you bike every day or are considering riding for the first time, Bike to Work Day is a chance to join thousands of others who choose to get around by bike. Ride to work, ride to school, run an errand or simply stop by a station and be part of the celebration.

Morning stations: 6:30–9:30 a.m.

We are more than halfway through the Summer Moves Regional Challenge and Fort Collins residents are making a real impact! So far this month, participants have logged over 300 trips and covered more than 2,000 miles using sustainable transportation.

The challenge runs through June 30 and there is still plenty of time to join. Walk, bike, ride transit, carpool or vanpool and log your trips for a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Join us for Smart Cycling on June 13 at the Fort Collins Senior Center. This nationally recognized course covers bicycle safety, riding techniques, traffic awareness and more.

Smart Cycling is offered in two parts on the same day:
📚 Classroom session
🚲 On-bike riding session

To get the full experience, participants should register for both sessions. Together, they provide the knowledge and practical skills needed to ride more safely and confidently.

This is your last chance to sign up as a Bike to Work Day station host. Registration closes tomorrow, June 5, at 5 p.m.

Station hosts help welcome riders with food, drinks, encouragement, and community spirit at locations across the city.

The Summer Moves Regional Challenge is live! All month long, residents and visitors across the North Front Range are logging trips by walking, biking, rolling, riding transit, carpooling and vanpooling.

Log at least five trips in June for a chance to win a digital gift card worth up to $100. Every trip helps improve air quality across Northern Colorado.
