Green Buffalow Green Buffalow is creating the best Wildland Firefighter uniforms for WOMEN as well as men! Watch us fill this void in the fire industry and support us.

There is a current void in the industry, so we are working hard at getting our items on the market. We are focusing on the best fabric, fit and design to bring about the most ergonomic uniforms available. Uniforms that will feel great, reduce heat stress and allow the most movement due to our superior design. Along with creating a company, comes the important task of choosing the right name. While

doing research, we happened upon the first known documentation of a wildland fire in the U.S. captured from the Lewis and Clark journal entry in 1804, it stated "... a boy went unhurt in the midst of the [wildfire] flaim... [because] a green buffalow skin was thrown over him by his mother. The fire did not burn under the [green buffalow] skin, leaving the grass around the boy [unharmed]". We knew immediately GREEN BUFFALOW must be our name because who we are, was already enveloped in that name: Protectors and mothers who use ingenuity to give REFUGE and COMFORT for STRENGTH, to those who are in harms way.
