Some of our Multi-Lingual Cardinals had the opportunity to practice pollinating flowers, then flying back to the beehive to eat pollen and make honey. Way to go, Ms. R, for helping your students learn and practice vocabulary like pollen, queen bee, and beehive in a meaningful way!

Augusta County Public Schools proudly announces our twenty Teachers of the Year. The Augusta County Teacher of the Year will be announced as part of our special celebration on April 23, 2026. All Teachers of the Year will be recognized at the school division’s annual brunch on April 24, 2026.

We’re proud to share some exciting news! 🎉

Clymore Elementary has officially joined Fort Defiance High School and Stewart Middle School as a Project ADAM Certified school! This national program focuses on saving lives by preparing schools to respond quickly and effectively to cardiac emergencies through training, planning, and access to lifesaving equipment.

As part of this work, our staff has been trained in CPR and AED use, participated in emergency drills, and helped implement a comprehensive cardiac response plan to keep our school community safe.

A huge THANK YOU goes to the Clymore E. G. Clymore Elementary PTA for generously purchasing two new AEDs for our school. This incredible gift strengthens our ability to respond in an emergency and could truly save a life. While we hope we never need to use them, we are so grateful to have them. Our building now has THREE AED machines! WOW!!

Our Multi-Lingual Cardinals presented their projects for their Living Museum event. They collaborated with FDHS and the Woodrow Wilson Museum to research and present to their families and classmates.

Some of our 4th and 5th graders participated in the 24 Math Challenge District Competition this week. This competition requires students to look at four numbers and quickly identify a way to add, subtract, multiply, or divide all four numbers to create the number 24. We are so proud of these hard-working Cardinals!

Second graders in Mrs.Pullin’s class showed what they learned about life cycles through a paper plate project. They got to finish their life cycle unit by teaching some kindergartners about their life cycles. They all had a blast and learned so much!
