18.6 miles. 25-pound rucks. Freezing temps. These two Thunder Soldiers didn’t just finish—they dominated. Earning that foreign award badges are a testament to their grit, endurance, and leadership by example.

Battle of the Ranks! 🏀⚡️

Thunder Battalion traded boots for sneakers this morning for an intense Officers vs. NCOs basketball game. It was high energy from tip-off to the final buzzer, with plenty of hustle and heart left on the court.

Who do you think walked away with the bragging rights today?

Building a team doesn't stop just because the temperature drops. ❄️

Instead of braving the cold this morning, the 3-314th FA took advantage of the gym for some high-energy basketball. Events like this are crucial for building camaraderie and resilience within the ranks. Great work, team!

32° weather? No problem for these Thunder Soldiers! ⚡️🥶 We decided to bear the cold this morning and get after it with a light run/walk. No better way to wake up and start the day! 🏃🏾‍♂️💨

🎳 We might not be in the NFL, but we are definitely Kingpins! 🎳

The 3-314th FA "Thunder" Battalion had a blast at the Annual Brigade Turkey Bowl this week! It was a rollercoaster of emotions, athletes, and turkey-induced morale. 🦃

The Highlight Reel:

⛳ Golf: Our sister battalion, Sh**un, took home the gold on Day 1. (Congrats, but we’re coming for you next year! 😉)

🏈 Football: We... uh... "strategically" lost the first game so we could dominate the redemption round on Day 3. And dominate we did! The "Loser vs. Loser" bracket never looked so good. A W is a W!

🎳 Bowling: FIRST PLACE! Turns out, Thunder Battalion dominates the lanes! 🏆
Great food, even better morale, and the perfect way to kick off the Thanksgiving weekend.

Thunder Soldiers Deliver for the Holidays! ⚡🦃

This morning, Soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, 314th Field Artillery Regiment (Thunder) embraced the spirit of selfless service by partnering with the American Red Cross. Our team hit the ground running at the commissary, loading up pallets of turkeys and essential food items before convoying to the local Red Cross center for distribution.

We are proud to support our community and ensure families have what they need this Thanksgiving season. Whether in uniform or civilian clothes, the mission remains the same: People First 🇺🇸

Joint Battalion Army Fitness Test (AFT) Ex*****on

The 3-314th (Thunder) Battalion successfully executed the Army Fitness Test (AFT) in a joint, two-day event commencing on Monday and concluding on Tuesday. This mandated physical readiness assessment was conducted in conjunction with the 1-314th (Falcon) Battalion.

To ensure impartiality and uphold the highest standards of fairness and integrity during the grading process, the battalions implemented a cross-organizational grading protocol. Graders from each respective battalion were assigned to evaluate the soldiers of the opposing battalion.

This measure effectively mitigated any potential for bias and ensured a professional, standardized evaluation across all participating personnel. The event underscored the critical importance of maintaining a high level of physical readiness within the formation.
