A select group of Civil Air Patrol cadets from across the U.S. participated in the Advanced Pararescue and Survival Orientation Course from June 19th-30th at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ.

The course allowed cadets to learn from United States Air Force pararescue instructors, SERE Specialists and medical personnel. To qualify for the course, cadets had to pass a rigorous fitness test and graduate from the Basic Pararescue and Survival Course.

I'm happy to say the book "Miracle on Buffalo Pass" is now available on Amazon.com in a print edition and a Kindle edition. One of the most successful CAP search and rescue missions ever completed and told in the words of team members who risked their own safety to save lives. The CAP Silver Medal of Valor was awarded and well deserved. Photos from the book can be viewed at www.harrisonjones.org/photos.
