Regular Military Compensation (RMC) Calculator

Are you thinking about leaving the Army? Do yourself and your family a favor and click this link. http://militarypay.defense.gov/Calculators/RMCCalculator.aspx

The "total" at the bottom middle of the page beside Total Regular Military Compensation (RMC) does not mean that you make this much money in the Army. It means that you have to make that much money as a civilian to live the same lifestyle that you are currently living. Let me know if you have any questions.

To everyone who may have seen or heard about an email that was supposedly sent from the SMA. Please read the following message.
On Behalf of the SMA:

Leaders, recently an email emerged and was quickly disseminated throughout the force titled "SMA Notes". This email addressed a number of issues in regards to future changes within the Army. Let me state up front, this email is false and was not generated by me or my office. In fact we believe that this email was generated from a BLOG site and quickly spread.

I acknowledge that we are looking at any number of topics for future changes to the force but I have been very clear when I address any formation about what is being considered.

Emails like this tear at the fabric of our formations and cause angst and anxiety among our Soldiers and their Families. It is contrary to everything we are doing to improve the health of our Army and our future force. I ask that each of you take an active role in dispelling claims such as those addressed in the email and ask that you disseminate this message throughout your organizations.

If you have reenlisted since I have been in 4-31 and do not mind if I post your reenlistment ceremony pictures on here, please message me and let me know. Thank you.

01/06/2016

Current Reenlistment Opportunity Window (ROW) is 15 months from your ETS date. However, I can start working reenlistment options for you 16 months from your ETS date. Example: SPC Smith's ETS date is 20170505. His ROW opens 20160206, but I can start working his options on or after 20160106. Any questions, please ask.
