Ute Tribe Recreation would like to proudly welcome Analyss Benally, Brian Benally and the AB five basketball camp to our community.

Analyss Benally was recently featured on the Jennifer Hudson show, highlighting the impact of youth sports and community leadership. We are honored to have AB five basketball camp partnering with us to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes. This camp will bring skill development, mentorship and positive energy to our youth while promoting hard work, teamwork, and confidence both on and off the court.

We look forward to an amazing camp and welcome Analyss Benally, her father Brian Benally and the AB five basketball camp to the Northern Ute Tribe Recreation and as part of Child Abuse Prevention month in April.

Duchesne School District is pleased to announce the Kindergarten Roundup dates. Be sure to add the relevant school date to your calendar.

It's hard to believe, but the first Kindergarten Roundup for the 2026-2027 school year is less than two weeks away.

Some things to know about Kindergarten Roundup:

🎒 Kindergarten Roundup is optional.

⏰ The times listed for each school are a drop-in window. You and your child can come anytime during that time period.

✏️ This event helps schools estimate how many kindergarten students to expect next year. Schools may also do brief, basic activities to see how ready a child is for kindergarten.

The schedule for this year's Kindergarten Roundup is as follows:

🏫 Discovery Elementary - March 4, 9 a.m. to Noon, and March 5, Noon to 2 p.m.

🏫 Eagle View Elementary - April 2, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

🏫 Ashley Elementary - April 14, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

🏫 Davis Elementary - April 14 &15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

🏫 Maeser Elementary - April 16, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

🏫 Naples Elementary - April 17, 9 a.m. to Noon (By Appointment Only - Call the school at 435-781-3150 for more info or to schedule a time), and April 17, 1:30 to 3 p.m. (No Appointment Needed)

🏫 Lapoint Elementary - April 24, 1 to 4 p.m.

In Utah, children must be 5 years old by Sept. 2 to qualify for kindergarten attendance.

Please bring the following items with you, as they are required for students to attend school: Birth Certificate; Proof of Residence; and Immunization Record - 5 DTP/DTaP/DT; 4 Polio; 2 Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR); 3 Hepatitis B; 2 Hepatitis A; and 2 Varicella (Chickenpox).

If you are unable to attend Kindergarten Roundup due to scheduling issues, please call your child's school.
