Certified Car Seat Technicians will be on hand to check car seats for proper fit, use, possible recall and to help parents and caregivers on how to use the seat right. If a car seat is found to be unsafe, a limited number of car seats may be available for donation.

How to Build a family media plan.
Want to Build a Family Media Plan? Where do we start?
• Work together to set rules about social media use so you and your children agree on how devices fit into your lives. Use our Family Media Plan tool to customize these rules for your family. A couple of hints below:
• Balance family time & screen time.
• Create screen-free times and places in your home (such as meals and bedtime).
• Set do-not-disturb times on devices and media time limits.
• Track online activities and talk about which ones may be problematic.
• Plan regular screen-free activities your family enjoys.
• Make a habit of turning off media that isn't in use. Try music if you need ambient noise.
• Talk about social media.
• Start regular, open-minded conversations with your children (even the youngest ones!) about their social media use, and yours.

The Big Do’s and Don’ts Of Social Media and Screen Time for Youth 0-5 years of age
The Children and Screens Guide for Early Child Development and Media Use: Infants and Children Ages 0-5 - Children and Screens https://www.childrenandscreens.org/learn-explore/research/the-children-and-screens-guide-for-early-child-development-and-media-use-infants-and-children-ages-0-5/
• Avoid any screen time for a child under 18 months or even two years old, except for video chatting.
• Choose content carefully after age two – wait for developmental readiness, and pull back if a child shows signs of negative impacts of screens.
• For children over two, follow guidelines in “https://www.childrenandscreens.org/learn-explore/research/the-children-and-screens-guide-for-early-child-development-and-media-use-infants-and-children-ages-0-5/ -for-choosing-and-using-quality-media-content-for-preschoolers” for evaluating the quality of media content for young children.
• Research shows parent/caregiver media use impacts your infant and young child. Put your own phone down and away when interacting with infants and young children.
• Keep media and digital devices out of bedtime routines and bedrooms.
• Eliminate “background” media around infants and young children.
