NOTICE TO PUBLIC- Effective immediately, per the Clay County Solid Waste Ordinance, the Clay County Refuse trucks will only pick up trash in County issued garbage cans. No trash on the ground or in containers other than county issued ones will be picked. For more information, please contact the Clay County Board of Commissioners at 229-768-3238 or come in office at 147 Wilson Street, Fort Gaines, Georgia, 39851.

Sorry for the confusion, freedom truck has been delayed till Tuesday!

Join us June 22–24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Resources Management Office, 427 Eufaula Road, Fort Gaines, Georgia, for the Freedom 250 Mobile Museum.
The Freedom 250 Mobile Museum offers a cinematic, immersive journey through America’s founding in honor of the United States’ 250th birthday. Visitors can step inside and explore the story of America’s early settlements, the fight for liberty, the Revolution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.
The experience includes interactive exhibits, talking portraits of the Founders, and storytelling that brings history directly to communities across the nation.
