📣 Farewell to CSM Molina – 3rd BN, 318th REGT (OC/T)

Yesterday, we bid farewell to an incredible leader, mentor, and teammate—Command Sergeant Major Geovanny Molina—as he departs the 3rd Battalion, 318th Regiment (OC/T) for a new CSM assignment with an instructor battalion. 💼🎖️

This was CSM Molina’s first assignment as a Battalion Command Sergeant Major, and he made a lasting impact through his unwavering dedication, commitment to excellence, and genuine care for Soldiers. His leadership elevated the standard across the board and shaped a culture of readiness, resilience, and professionalism within our formation. 🪖💪

LTC Waldon, our Battalion Commander, shared a few heartfelt words thanking CSM Molina for his tireless work ethic and steadfast dedication to the mission and the welfare of every Soldier.

Though he's moving on, CSM Molina leaves with the message that he’s only a phone call or email away and remains available to help anyone who needs support or guidance. That’s the mark of a true leader. 📞🤝

We thank you, CSM Molina, for everything—and wish you continued success in your next chapter. You will always be part of the 3-318th family. 🫡🌟

On a crisp and motivating Saturday morning, Soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, 318th Regiment (Observer Coach/Trainer) showed up and showed out for the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT). 💥🏃🏾‍♀️🏋️‍♂️ From maxing deadlifts to crushing sprint-drag-carry events, our team brought energy, professionalism, and readiness to the field.

Physical readiness is not just a requirement—it's a key component of our operational effectiveness. As OC/Ts, our ability to coach, mentor, and train partner units starts with setting the standard ourselves. Events like the ACFT reinforce our commitment to lethality, endurance, and resilience—values that directly support the success of our mission and the readiness of the force.

📍We are proud to be part of the 1st Brigade, 78th Training Division, and 84th Training Command, and we thank them for their continued support.

📢 3rd BN 318th REGT OC/T Team 📢

As we enter September, it's important to recognize Su***de Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness of the resources available to prevent self-harm and highlight the power of strong connections. 🛡️

A message from our BDE CDR, COL Torraca, reminds us that harmful behaviors impact our force’s mission readiness and have a lasting effect on families, friends, and fellow Soldiers. Suicidal thoughts can affect anyone—regardless of background, rank, or age. It's on us to encourage help-seeking behaviors and connect our teammates to the many resources the Army has made available.

This year’s theme is "We Are Stronger Together. Connect to Protect." it emphasizes the importance of staying connected with those we trust and care about. 🤝 Building and maintaining these bonds can reduce the risk of self-harm behaviors.

💡 Know the signs of distress, be there for your fellow Soldiers, and guide them to the right support—whether it's through unit leaders, chaplains, Army Community Services, or behavioral health specialists.

🆘 If you or someone you know needs help, the 988 Su***de and Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7: Dial 988, press 1.

We are all in this together. Let's check in on our teammates, family members, and friends and ensure we support one another.

Together, we can make a difference. 💪
