For the past two years, SSG Hernandez has dedicated his personal time as the event photographer for Pershing Hill Elementary School in the Fort Meade community. Beyond capturing standard events like assemblies and PTA gatherings, SSG Hernandez recently led a large-scale photography project to transform the interior of the school building with vibrant, authentic images of student life. 147 participants. 18.6 miles. Boots, rucks, and no shortcuts.

7th Signal Command and 21st Theater Signal Brigade held a Norwegian Foot March at Fort Meade, and Soldiers responded, showing what commitment looks like when the miles get long and the ruck gets heavy.

Every step was a reminder that readiness is not just something we talk about — it is something we train for, push through, and earn.

Congratulations to all who completed the challenge and represented 7th Signal Command and the U.S. Army with grit and determination.
