This last Friday our MWR team brought together Sailors, families and pets for our annual summer picnic celebrating the Chief Petty Officer's Birthday! Delicious burgers were made, sports were played, and several of our Sailors were recognized for their hard work. Thank you to our amazing MWR team for another great event!

Knights, CWA-65 is looking for a civilian volunteer to be our new command Ombudsman. The intent of the Navy Family Ombudsman Program is to improve mission readiness through improved family readiness. Ombudsmen provide communications, outreach, resource referrals, information and advocacy to and for command families.

As the holidays come to a close and we all return to our regularly scheduled routines, we want to take a moment to reflect on the holidays. Our amazing MWR team put together a wonderful holiday party. Together we laughed, played bingo, won prizes, ate delicious food, and danced the night away!
