127th Cyber Protection Battalion Award Ceremony!

The outgoing Battalion is composed of Army National Guard units from Indiana, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, with additional Soldiers from Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, New York, and Virginia.

For the past year, 127th Cyber Protection Battalion (CPB) Soldiers deployed as Task Force Echo conducted cyberspace operations in support of U.S. Cyber Command and the Cyber National Mission Force.

The 147th Cyber Warfare Company, aligned to the 127t CPB, supported Joint Forces Headquarters-Cyber (Army) at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The Soldiers tasked to JFHQ-C(A) conducted Title 10 offensive cyber operations in support of geographical Combatant Commands.

The Soldiers from the 127th CBP joined the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber), service members from all branches, and Guard and Reserve teammates, who were already at work and on mission supporting U.S. Cyber Command and U.S. Army Cyber Command.

Brigadier General R. Dale Lyles (Adjutant General of Indiana), Steve Cox (Executive Director of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security), Soldiers of the IGR and Major Marc Johnson (Indiana Divisional Commander of the Salvation Army) all came together today at Kessler Armory to receive the many donations given to our Afghan Guests who are currently stationed at Camp Atterbury.
