SOLICITATION FOR BID FOR TOWN OF FORT GIBSON
LAWN AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

The Town of Fort Gibson is soliciting bids for lawn and landscape maintenance for Town owned Citizens Cemetery. This will be an all-inclusive contract that will be awarded to the contractor with the lowest, best bid. Potential contractors should have proper commercial equipment and manpower to perform the full scope of work for the site. Conditional bids or partial bids will not be reviewed for consideration. All bids must include copies of General Liability Insurance that meets the State of Oklahoma minimum coverage requirements.

BID CLOSE DATE: June 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. All bids must be submitted, in a sealed envelope, with LAWN AND LANDSCAPE BID clearly marked on the outside of the envelope to the Fort Gibson Town Clerk at 200 W. Poplar Ave., PO Box 218, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma 74434 by the bid close date and time. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered.

Bid packets identifying the scope of work may be obtained at Fort Gibson Town Hall, 200 W. Poplar Ave., Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, or via email request to [email protected].

Come join us from 1:00-3:30 today as we open the splash pad for the summer!

This Memorial Day Weekend, the Town of Fort Gibson Parks & Recreation Department will be throwing an opening weekend celebration for the Splash Pad!
On Saturday, May 23rd from 1PM-3:30PM the Town will bring sidewalk chalk and tie-dye kits for everyone to enjoy while we kick off the summer season by turning on the splash pad.
The Town will be providing 100 canvas bags for the kids to tie-dye. We found a unique "twist" for making the tie-die bags where we put the dye solution into sq**rt guns and let the kids spray the tie-die solution onto the fabric. The tie-die station will be set up along the fenceline that faces the train tracks so that we can hang the bags along that section of fence to spray them. We will have smocks and eye protection glasses at the park to protect the participants.
We hope to see everyone there to kick off summer together!
