LEGION FAMILY — WE NEED YOU TO ACT. AND WE NEED YOU TO ACT NOW.
This is bigger than a Facebook post.
Bigger than a share.
And bigger than any one Post, District, Department, or program.
The American Legion has issued an EMERGENCY ACTION ALERT regarding the Take Care of America’s Veterans Act (TCAVA).
Congress needs to hear from us — NOW.
The House of Representatives could leave Washington early in September without scheduling a vote on TCAVA.
We cannot allow this legislation to simply run out of time.
THE CLOCK IS TICKING.
According to The American Legion’s national Action Alert, the VA has stated under oath that it plans to finalize upcoming rules concerning **tinnitus and sleep apnea.
National’s message is clear: once those rules are published, the opportunity to capture the projected savings associated with those changes and direct them toward additional veterans programs could be lost.
That means the advocacy work Legionnaires and veterans across this country have been doing could be dramatically changed by something as simple as Congress failing to act in time.
So Montana, it is time to make some noise.
