🇺🇸 VFWs Working Together for Our Citizen Soldiers! 🇺🇸

CSM A.C. COTTON VFW POST #12209 was proud to partner with VFW POST 2375 Kingsville TX, in providing meals to the Citizen Soldiers of the 217th HET Company, along with other Troopers, as they prepared for deployment.

Supporting our service members isn’t something we just talk about—it’s something we show up and do. Whether at home, on Fort Hood, or across the great state of Texas, we remain committed to taking care of those who serve.

The brisket tacos were a huge hit, and it was an honor to spend time with our Soldiers, families, and the Fort Hood community. We also had the opportunity to connect with Soldiers, share what our organization is all about, and recruit some new members to our post!
The outreach continued today at the Newcomers Event, where we welcomed even more Soldiers and made new connections.
We are proud to serve, support our troops, and continue growing our membership. Veterans serving Veterans—while supporting our active-duty military and their families!

Looking for great conversation, camaraderie, and a chance to connect with fellow veterans?

Join the All Veterans Lunch on the last Friday of every month at 11:00 AM in the Regatta Room at Dead Fish Grill in Belton.

This is an informal gathering with no speeches, no agenda, and no selling—just veterans from all branches and all eras coming together to enjoy lunch and fellowship.

Whether you’re active duty, retired, a recent veteran, or served years ago, you’re welcome to attend.

Congratulations to our newly elected VFW National Commander, Cory Geisler!

He paid out post a nice visit last year he was made a honorary trooper of 2-12 Cav and received his spurs on Cooper Field.

Cory L. Geisler was elected VFW commander-in-chief at the 127th National Convention, pledging "One Team. One Mission. Veterans First." while advancing veterans advocacy and membership growth.
