Today we highlight the most ambitious, physically grueling, and tactically demanding field training exercise 704TH EOD has ever conducted.
Last week, 704TH EOD Soldiers conducted a nighttime air assault into remote village and conducted offensive and defensive operations. Two assault elements each led by an EOD tech infilled via CH-47 and assaulted 33 buildings by force. EOD technicians performed render safe procedures, explosive and mechanical breaching, prosecuted homemade explosive laboratories, and disposed of caches all under the cover of darkness. After 96 hours of continuous operations, 704TH exfilled via CH-47.
