This week 704th OD CO EOD conducted a Team Level STX in accordance with the new EOD Tables training module. The team leaders and team members were trained and validated together on multiple lanes such as responding to chemical ordnance, landmines, bombs, multi-ordnance, and post blast analysis. After completing the team tasks, 704th is ready to advance to platoon tasks in February’s STX. 🇺🇸

This week 704th EOD hit the ground running by conducting integrated training for the M4 and M17 with 9th ASOS (TACP). 704th demonstrated the ability to integrate effectively with a partner unit and maintain lethality and expert capability with the weapon systems. Huge thank you to SGM Fisher for paying us a visit and delivering lunch on the range! 🇺🇸

Training never stops with the Lone Star Bomb Squad as we executed Cross-Training with the 9th ASOS (9th Air Support Operations Squadron). It was an amazing opportunity to train with the Elite of our Sister Services, conducting demolition techniques and building dismount charges in the classroom and out at the range. 🇺🇸

Today 797th and 704th EOD had a great opportunity to execute a mass disposal of various types of ordnance utilizing two disposal shots. What a great day to train with other EOD techs from FHT! 🇺🇸 🤘🏼 💣

Today we highlight the most ambitious, physically grueling, and tactically demanding field training exercise 704TH EOD has ever conducted.

Last week, 704TH EOD Soldiers conducted a nighttime air assault into remote village and conducted offensive and defensive operations. Two assault elements each led by an EOD tech infilled via CH-47 and assaulted 33 buildings by force. EOD technicians performed render safe procedures, explosive and mechanical breaching, prosecuted homemade explosive laboratories, and disposed of caches all under the cover of darkness. After 96 hours of continuous operations, 704TH exfilled via CH-47.
