Spartans coming through in a big way!!!! This morning we did our Operation Christmas Delivery event. We dressed up all festive, put on some holiday tunes, loaded our rucksacks up with gifts for all our little Spartans and moved out. After the ruck we all consolidated the gifts that we will be giving to the children of our Spartan Soldiers. The rest will be donated. The M.I.G.H.T.Y Spartans just completed a little 10 day exercise. Supporting multiple outside units. Showing our skills, impressing those we supported and perfecting our craft. Spartans think big and elevate training. Great job setting the standard and leading the way!!

The festivities next week never stop. Join the M.I.G.H.T.Y Spartans with a ruck march toy drive to start the Holiday Festivities. Come in with a gift donation for children 0-13 years old, wear your festive holiday gear and get in a little ruck. 🤫 I heard Santa might come!!!

Said it yesterday the Spartans got a lot going on. Friday 16 December in addition to the Company Holiday Party we have our monthly SFRG event. We have dubbed it parents' night out. All Spartans and Spartans family members are invited. We will have pizza, games, holiday movies, arts and crafts, and a quick look at some upcoming events. The parents' night out portion of this event is that a group of volunteer Soldiers and family members are prepared to keep an eye on our Spartan children to give the parents a few hours. Need to get some shopping for the holidays done? Need to run a few errands? Need to finish prepping for family to come or holiday vacation? We have you covered.

Fort Hood Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation will be hosting a Trees for Troops again this year with FedEx and Christmas Spirit Foundation on Dec. 9 at Hood Stadium.
The event is first come, first served, with the first two hours of the event open only to E1-E4 and their family members. After two hours, it is open to all DoD ID cardholders.
The distribution time will be released closer to the event, pending a delivery time.

Lotta good things coming up in the next few weeks for the Spartans to take part in. Lets start off with our Holiday Party. December 16th come out for some festive music, familiar faces and food. Most notably DESSERTS!!!!!! We will be having a Holiday baking challenge. Everyone gets the snacks and the best bakers in the Spartan Family get some prizes. Little extra fun; wear your "Ugly" Holiday sweater for a chance to win a prize right from 1SG Schmidt.

Sometimes you gotta get out of the office/ Motorpool and do some good old Army training. The Mighty Spartans took part in Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) training recently.
Female Soldiers and Veterans of the Greater Fort Hood Community are invited to a Spiritual Readiness Training Event for Women Warriors!
During this event there will be opportunities to strengthen spiritual readiness through individual reflection and participate group learning activities.

SGT Harrison!!!!! Way to go. 88 Soldiers went to that range. He was the only expert. SGT Harrison takes the T in M.I.G.H.T.Y. Spartan seriously. He is Trained and proficient. Great job.
The MIGHTY Spartans got after it today for foundation days!!! The weather put a damper on our original plans. But what do Spartans do? Adapt and overcome.
Started the morning with a good old fashion ruck sack PT session, broke up into small groups for NCO led SHARP discussions, Command Team served up some breakfast, the BN Chaplin joined in and the bittersweet end was bidding farewell to 2nd PLTs own LT Flodstrom!!!!
Happening today!!! Spartan family come on out. Bring the kids, grab your roommate or tell your team. Food is free and tons to see!!

Need something to do this Saturday? Fort Hood hosting a great event for the whole family to enjoy. Along with the pumpkin patch and the Free BBQ is a car and bike show. 1SG Schmidt is gonna have his custom bike out there and your hard working SFRG Advisor Betty is putting her Jeep in the show. Come show some support.
Congratulations CPL Hall and SPC Williams for your recognition in front of the BN. SGT Tripp (not present) received the same award. Providing world class services and teaching others your craft sets you apart as communicators. Great job!!!!

Bravo Company Spartans really took advantage of Foundation Days. After a day filled with team breakfasts, Personal Readiness training, and OCIE layouts. We took a nice relaxing Friday for an ORG day. We did a BBQ at the park, enjoyed some games together, got to watch a well deserved CPL get pinned SGT by his parents before transitioning and most of all got to see the Commanders son pie daddy good.

THUNDERBIRD OF THE WEEK
SGT Stephanie Daniel, Bravo Co. 62d ESB, is this week’s Thunderbird of the Week!
In a short span of time, SGT Daniel has made a significant impact towards the functionality of the Company’s Headquarters, firmly handling all critical administrative tasks.
These responsibilities include Soldier actions for the orderly room, updating DTMS for the training room, and planning upcoming training and events.
SGT Daniel carries out a multitude of additional duties throughout the Company, and has an unmatched passion for her responsibilities, as it ensures the ongoing success of Spartan Company and the individual development of her fellow Soldiers.
The Spartan Family bid farewell to 1SG Garcia and welcome 1SG Schmidt at the Change of Responsibility ceremony!
1SG Garcia, did an tremendous job as the First Sergeant of Bravo Company. We know he will do a magnificent job as 57th BN S3 SGM, he will be truly missed!

While Representing the Spartans, SPC(P) Taylor earned the Army Achievement Medal (AAM), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (MOVSM), and a Championship ring.
