A bear was spotted on a doorbell camera near a front porch in Bonnie Blink on Wednesday morning! 🐻

Please keep all trash cans secured in your garage. Also, make sure BBQ grills, smokers, coolers, and anything else that attracts wildlife are cleaned & stored in your garage.

(⚠️ Safety note: Never actually USE a grill or smoker inside your garage!)

🕷️Arizona monsoons draw out wildlife that spend most of the year underground, such as tarantulas. You may find tarantulas wandering around after it rains. Monsoon season is mating season for them and mature male tarantulas go out searching for females. Don’t be alarmed if you run across a tarantula. These gentle giants are harmless to humans and are only interested in finding a mate. As with all wildlife, please keep your distance and admire them from afar.🕷️

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is likely to be issued for this afternoon and evening. Storms will start by early afternoon and last until a little past sunset. Localized heavy downpours and strong outflow wind gusts will be possible with at least some of these cells. Expect similar conditions each afternoon and evening until about midway through next week. Although increased low-level moisture may limit the wind gust potential slightly as we move later into the weekend and early next week.
