📢 FIRST FORMATION
HOME FRONT STATION—FALL IN! 🫡 It’s Day 2 of Family IDT weekend! Time for accountability. Service members aren’t the only ones who need to stay mission ready—our Families have a readiness mission, too!
Sound off in the comments when your Family is PRESENT! 🙋♀️🙋♂️
👉Accountability check: Who survived yesterday’s training? 😂
SUNDAY — DAY 2
First Formation → Sensitive Items Inventory → Mandatory Training Block 2 → End-of-Day AAR
SITREP Snapshot—Yesterday’s objectives are complete: PT, Family PMCS, Backpack PCCs, and Block 1 of Mandatory Training.
TODAY’S OBJECTIVE: Finish the mission!
🔐 SENSITIVE ITEMS INVENTORY
Service members account for sensitive items during drill. At Home Front Station, we’re asking:
Could your Family account for the important things if something happened TODAY?
This could include:
📑 Birth certificates
📑 Social Security cards
📑 Marriage certificate
📑 Passports
📑 Vehicle titles
🏠 Homeowners/renters insurance
💎 Documentation/photos of valuable property
💻 Important electronic devices
🔑 Spare keys
📱 Emergency contacts
Where are they?
Who can access them?
Are they protected?
Is your insurance coverage current?
Would you be prepared in a ‘Grab and Go’ situation??
(OPSEC reminder: Conduct your inventory at home—do NOT report your sensitive items in the comments! 😉)

We’re approaching mission complete for this month’s Family IDT-Home Front Station Drill Weekend—but no one falls out before the AAR!
What’s an AAR? 📝🫡
An After Action Review—or AAR—is the Army’s way of looking back after a mission to ask:
What was supposed to happen?
What actually happened?
What went well?
What can we improve for next time?
Families can use an AAR after vacations, holidays, school routines, big purchases, emergencies, or major life changes. Taking a few minutes to discuss what worked, what didn’t, and what should change next time can reduce stress, improve communication, and help your Family plan future missions with confidence!
So, how did your AAR for this month’s Family IDT: Home Front Station Drill go? Did you learn something new, discover a helpful resource, or identify a readiness task your Family still needs to complete? Take those lessons learned, make your action plan, and carry them forward into next month’s mission! 🫡
Service members train for the mission.
Families can train for readiness, too. 🫡
