The 28th ECAB proudly supported the Pennsylvania National Guard Open House on June 6 by staging a CH-47 Chinook, a UH-60 Black Hawk, flyover during the National Anthem, and supporting a sling operation demonstration for visitors to experience up close.

Congratulations Lt. Col. Shamus Cragg as he flies his last flight as an Army aviator 🚁

After 24 years of service in the Pennsylvania Army national Guard and 3 deployments, Lt. Col. Cragg is retiring.

“I joined the army because I had a sense of duty to my country and for the education benefits. Through the years I have had many fantastic mentors to include Command Sgt. Maj. Jeff Huttle, Sgt. Maj. Steven Shirk, Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Bible and many more. I want to thank my wife and kids along with my parents for supporting me over my entire career, through deployments and all of that time away.”
