Weekly Recap:

Last week Eaglehorse doubled down on their investment in their leaders!

XO Academy: Troop XOs, junior leaders, PSGs, and USMA Cadets took part in a two day series of classes. Leaders learned the duties incumbent to a Troop XO, the importance of vehicle maintenance, and the process of ordering and returning parts to the many vehicles organic to 11th ACR.

SFC Zengri Farewell: SFC Zengri was an essential asset to Killer Troop and the squadron as a whole. SFC Zengri took initiative and a lot of hours of his day to give back to 2/11, and it has not gone unnoticed. His presence will be missed. We thank SFC Zengri for everything that he’s done and we wish the best for his family.

LT Brian Wang Promotion: 2LT Wang of Killer Troop was promoted to 1LT. He is an exceptional leader and leads his platoon by example. Killer Troop is lucky to have this him on their team.

LT Osvaldo Cruzsoto Promotion: 2LT Cruzsoto of Guns Troop was promoted to the rank of 1LT. He is another prime example of the leaders that get developed here within the Eaglehorse Squadron. He is an exceptional leader who leads his troopers from the front.

We anticipate the truck's arrival between 10:45 & 11:00 a.m. (this is estimated!!) on Saturday morning.

The truck parks in front of the Leasing Office. Please DO NOT park in the front; use the large side parking lot by the playground until it's time for loading.

How it works:
1. Residents will sign in, providing street address and rank. (PLEASE BRING YOUR ID.)
2. The truck will come and unload.
3. Service members will then be called up by rank (lowest to highest) to pick an item from the donation.

Let us say hello to PFC Yoakum and Yoakum, Jr., the tortoise, and SPC "Doc" Niu and Carter the tortoise. These 2/11 Troopers, with the help of environmental specialists, assisted in protecting our local desert wildlife. These tortoises are now tagged and in the government registry.

REGT UMT invites all 11th ACR Spouses to “Spouse Power Night” an evening dedicated to Spouse Appreciation, Connection, & Resiliency during the Rotation.
The session will feature Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) for spouses, Self Care Strategies, and Zumba fitness class.
