Important Update for Fort Irwin CYS Families
Beginning Wednesday, August 5, 2026, Fort Irwin Child and Youth Services (CYS) will permanently adjust operating hours to:
5:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Monday through Friday
MST will Be from 13:00 to 17:30 Wedneday
15:00 to 17:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Teen Night 17:30-21:00
This change is based on feedback received from currently enrolled families and has been reviewed and approved by CYS leadership, the DFMWR Director, and the Fort Irwin Army Garrison Commander.
Please Note:
CYS fees remain based on a 10-hour care program in accordance with DoDI 6060.02 and AR 608-10.
CYS will continue providing a 12-hour operational window (0530–1730) to support the needs of our military families and mission requirements.
During holiday and block leave periods, operating hours may be adjusted to 0600–1700 based on operational needs.
We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we make this transition to better serve our CYS community.

The Fort Irwin Child and Youth Services (CYS) payment system will completely shut down starting Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Because July 7 is the absolute final deadline for the system to process files, parents should complete all registrations and payments by Monday, July 6, 2026, to avoid last-minute system delays or automatic cancellations.

Calling all parents/guardians/youth/foodies Keystone & Torch will be having a Bake Sale at SAC (1322 Pork Chop Hill) tomorrow June 3rd 2026 at 1400-1730. Please come out and support this group! We have also always received so much support and we appreciate that so much!

JUNE IS UPON US! Here is our official calendar for June 2026, sorry for the delay! We have some fun activities and field trips planned for the summer time so keep an eye out for upcoming events. Youth have to have an active registration with CYS and offered for 6th - 12th graders. Please keep in mind some of the activities/field trips cost money so head to parent central to receive a permission slip and sign up for as many field trips as your kiddo would like.
***Change: Keystone & Torch Club will have a bake sale @ SAC (1322 Porkchop Hill) at 1400-1730 instead of the lunch BBQ***

Are you ready for this Hoops Tournament? We are calling all basketball players, pro athletes, beginner high school plater, this tournament is for you! We want to invite you an exclusive teen night that will be designated for this tournament. If interested, please sign up with the Youth Center by Friday by 3pm. No team? No worries we will assist with that! High school only please! Tell your friends, tell your neighbors it will be a fun experience!
Must be registered through Parent Central. Food & Beverages will be provided and CASH PRIZE; winner team takes all!
