Through sheer determination and a refusal to be defined by circumstances, the Conquerors transformed adversity into opportunity, emerging stronger as a team, and more empowered than before.

The past month we’ve bid farewell to both our platoon leaders as they embark on their journey to the next level and also honored one of our finest leader, marking a permanent departure from our midst.

Our Soldiers continue to stay and serve the country, some progress through promotions and become a leader that will lead by example and with experience.

Training is the best form of leader development and for that, we are the best on Artillery and individual soldier tasks, some of our Soldiers will represent the 1st Armored Division Artillery in the upcoming Best Redleg Competition next month.

Rounds complete NTC 24-04. Throughout the past 4 weeks the team took the fight to the infamous Blackhorse OPFOR, decimating them by record breaking counter-fire missions followed with insane speed.

From force on force to live fire operations of the Excalibur and Smoke mission, this team has done it and gave it their all. After a year’s worth of training and a worthwhile triumphant at NTC, we could not have done it without the spirit of these Soldiers.

This is the Brigades Counter-fire Battery, the Conquerors.

There’s no better way the Conquerors could have ended the year than with a motivational run, completed NTC preparations, perfected NVD training, and always… always… recognizing excellence!

Congratulations to newly promoted SGT Roth, SSG Weeks, and PVT Workman. Thank you to SGT Hayes and CPL Noguez for their investment in this Battery as they PCS and ETS in the upcoming months!

It’s that time of the year ❄️ The Conquerors’ focus has been NTC preparation and Soldier readiness.

From Battery ruck march to packing-list and vehicle-heater inspections, the team will have the cold weather gear/equipment they’ll need.

Resiliency day? Absolutely necessary for the mental health of our Soldiers. Soldiers will have the capability to face new challenges with confidence.

Lastly, the continuous drivers training for our new and current Soldiers who will face a different terrain and environment in the next few months. Vital to ensure the knowledge and experience for driving under certain conditions are being maintained!

Happy Veterans Day from the Conquerors! The team appreciates your service and has our utmost gratitude.

The past 2 weeks we executed and qualified all crew serve and individual weapons qualifications!

Congratulations to SGT Kilpatrick and SGT Galyen from graduating BLC! SGT Kilpatrick was recognized for her essay! Outstanding!

We also bid farewell to a Conqueror Battery ancient! LT Young previously served as a PL and an XO in the past 3 years.

Lastly, 5 Conquerors were awarded the AAM for their performance during our Artillery table XV and XVIII. Congratulations to SPC Thomas, SPC Lad, SPC Goodwin, SPC Morales, and SGT Romero!

We hope everyone enjoys and stays safe during the weekend!

Happy Halloween from the Conquerors!

This past month was focused on building Combat power through Annual services to ensure we maintain the most reliable fleet.

We also had an opportunity with Mrs. Ashley to execute Ready & Resilient training strengthening our individual and unit personal readiness!

The Battalion hosted a “Track or Treat” where our families and friends enjoyed a great time!

Lastly, we bid farewell to our FDO 1LT Ribota as he moves on to become Bulldog Battery 2-3FA 1PLT Leader! Thank you for everything you’ve done for the team!

Conquerors led the fight this week through Torch competitions and recovery!

Conquerors held the charge for the Iron Steel Competition on Monday! Facing minimal recovery and trainup, Conquerors and 2-3 Field Artillery - Gunners, combined, put full effort into ex*****on! Demonstrating our ability to do more than 1% better every day! From 400 push-ups, reassembling crew serve weaponry and the dreaded Sprint, Drag and Carry! This was a combined effort across the Gunner Battalion, with Assassin Battery 2-3 FA coaching and our own Conqueror leading the way! Good to work with you again Bulldog Battery 2-3FA and HHB, 2-3 FA!

Conquerors pushed forward into combatives and the Iron Strong man competition! Demonstrating physical excellence across the Division! With one of our very own placing in the Strongman competition! Congratulations PFC "Gooey" Griewe!

Conqueror SFRG, clear your calendars for November 2nd as we provide the opportunity to see your Conquerors compete in a new challenge known as "The Conqueror Way!" Mastery in crew serve weaponry will be required as your Conquerors team up against each other. Your soldiers will be provided more information this following week, with a flyer as well.

Conquerors also participated in classes, retaining an understanding of the importance of resiliency and its daily effects!

We also promoted SPC Valdez to his current rank this week! Congratulations Specialist! Continue to learn as much as you can and lead the way!

Lastly, throughout all this, Conquerors remained focused on recovery operations. All hands on deck with equipment layouts, repairs and sustaining our combat power! XO held down the fort with the Conqueror FMT as we ramp up preparations to complete our upcoming Annual Services!

Conquerors took the final leap last week with the completion of TBL XVIII and CALFX!

Your Conquerors have been working relentlessly, completing all missions above standard and keeping all our equipment in working condition! Day in, day out, leaders stayed engaged keeping the Conquerors ready for change of mission. The full suite of Conqueror equipment was brought out and utilized, from unmanned aircraft to thermal vision goggles!

Conquerors now step into recovery once again, which is a combined effort to ensure we will be ready to roll for future operations!

We also had to say goodbye to Drill Sergeant Greenleaf! Who will now begin his time in the trail, bringing up the newest Soldiers of the Army and maybe some new Conquerors!

The biggest lesson learned is that we fight a combined fight, no Conqueror stands alone and no problem is impossible!
