Our 5th graders wrapped up their Career Celebration projects with their trifold board presentations and they did SUCH an awesome job!! 👏 Students chose some really neat and unique careers to research and had to include things like job descriptions, salary information, education/training needed, important skills for the career, pros and cons, and why they felt that career would be a good fit for them!

A lot of students went above and beyond and brought in props, uniforms, tools, and examples of items that are used in their career fields which made their presentations even more fun and interactive! It was so neat seeing the students so excited and confident while sharing about careers they are interested in for their futures. We are so proud of all of their hard work these past few weeks!!

International Lesson!🌎
During their Japanese art lesson, first and second semester 6th grade art students had the exciting opportunity to FaceTime with Kaylynn, Mrs. Noriega’s daughter and a Fort Jennings alum who now lives in Japan.

Kaylynn introduced herself in Japanese and shared what daily life and school are like in Japan. Students learned about Japanese currency, the time difference, and even received a lesson on how to use chopsticks. She also taught the students a few Japanese words and phrases. Kaylynn shared how she followed her dream of living in Japan, inspiring students to pursue their own goals. The class enjoyed asking questions and talking with her. It was a great experience! Thank you, Kaylynn!

Our students had the absolute best time yesterday with a special visit from Krendl Magic! From mind-blowing rope tricks to an unbelievable Rubik’s Cube illusion, the gym was packed with endless laughter, "oohs," and "aahs."

It was an incredibly entertaining show, and we loved seeing our kids' faces light up with pure amazement.

A huge thank you to Krendl Magic for bringing so much wonder and joy to our school, and thank you to the FJ Boosters for generously sponsoring this event!
