Today, some of our ASI employees along with several EMT students completed the Ambulance Vehicle Operator’s Course (AVOC) — an essential part of their emergency medical training. This hands-on course teaches students how to safely and efficiently operate an ambulance under real-world conditions.

From precision driving through tight cone patterns to mastering defensive driving techniques, each student had to demonstrate skill and professionalism.

👏 Congratulations to our staff and students for completing this training and for their dedication to serving their communities!

We also want to thank Chief Pelletier and members of Fort Kent Fire and Rescue for helping to organize, instruct, and set up the course. Additionally, a special thank you goes out to the Maine Department of Transportation in Fort Kent for the use of their traffic cones and lot.

Disclaimer: All the traffic cones survived but a few may have some new marks and scuffs. 😎
