Eagle Community,

As we close out another school year, I want to take a moment to thank each of you—our students, families, staff, and community partners—for the hard work, dedication, and support you have shown throughout the year. It truly takes all of us working together to create the kind of school environment our students deserve.

To our students: we are proud of your growth, your resilience, and the way you represented Fort Knox with Purpose, Passion, and Progress.

To our families and stakeholders: thank you for your trust, your partnership, and the countless ways you supported our school and our mission.

This year has been filled with meaningful accomplishments—in the classroom, in athletics, and across our many programs—and we are excited to continue building on that momentum as we remain grounded in our mantra of Purpose, Passion, and Progress.
As we head into summer, I hope you all find time to rest, recharge, and enjoy well-deserved moments with family and friends. Please stay safe, take care of one another, and come back ready for another great year.

We are already looking forward to welcoming everyone back and continuing the great work together next school year.

Thank you again for being such an important part of the Fort Knox High School community.

With appreciation,
Christopher Ford
Principal, Fort Knox High School

Dear Parents and Students,

You asked, and we delivered! Today, we will be hosting an “Anything But a Backpack” Spirit Day, and we are excited to see the creativity our students bring to campus.
Students are encouraged to carry their school materials in anything but a traditional backpack—let your imagination shine!
To ensure a safe and productive school day, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

Not allowed:
• Standard backpacks (the whole point is to avoid them!)
• Dangerous items (weapons, sharp objects, or anything that could harm others)
• Living things (no pets, animals, or anything disruptive)
• Items that hinder classroom activities (anything too large or cumbersome, such as kayaks, large strollers, or heavy equipment)
• Items that could be unsafe or disruptive (for example, using another person as a “pack mule” or anything that could cause a hazard)

We can’t wait to see the fun and creative ideas our students come up with while keeping safety and respect our top priority.

Looking forward to a great spirit day!

Mr. Ford and Ms. Thomas
