Watch as Lt. Gen. Robert D. Harter () administers the oath of re-enlistment to 56 Army Reserve Soldiers during a spectacular performance at the U.S. Army’s Twilight Tattoo. Representing their home states and territories, these Citizen-Soldiers showcased the incredible depth and reach of our force.

Citizen-Soldiers. One shared oath to defend the nation. 🇺🇸
The U.S. Army Reserve took center stage at the U.S. Army’s Twilight Tattoo in Washington, D.C., as Lt. Gen. Robert D. Harter, 35th and Commanding General of U.S. Army Reserve Command, administered the oath of re-enlistment to 56 dedicated Soldiers.
Representing communities from across the country, these Soldiers embody the true spirit and nationwide reach of the Army Reserve.
The spectacular evening featured powerhouse performances by the U.S. Army Blues, the U.S. Army Band Downrange, the Commander-in-Chief’s Guard, the U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and the U.S. Army Drill Team, alongside elite ceremonial units from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The United States Army Band (“Pershing’s Own”).
