The U.S. Army Outdoors Team was in action this weekend at the Archery Shooters Association (ASA) Pro/Am in London, Kentucky!

1SG Josh Edmonds and SFC Brian Galleger competed against some of the nation's top archers during one of the premier events on the ASA circuit.

The weekend got off to a great start as SFC Galleger secured a 1st Place finish in Thursday's Team Competition, helping set the tone for an exciting weekend of competition.

Both Soldiers continued their efforts through the individual competition, with 1SG Edmonds competing in the K50 Division and SFC Galleger competing in the K45 Division. Both archers finished the weekend in positive territory and gained valuable experience as they continue preparing for the next ASA Pro/Am stop in Metropolis, Illinois.

The work continues as the team returns to the range to refine their equipment, sharpen their skills, and prepare for the challenges ahead.

The road to another ASA weekend starts now here in London for the 4th stop of the Archery Shooters Association Pro/Am Tour! 🎯

Kicking things off today, myself and teammate 1SG Josh Edmonds will be competing in the Match Strings Team Shoot on Range X.

Then it’s time to get to work in the known 45 and known 50 divisions.

Looking forward to flinging some arrows at some foam and seeing what the weekend brings. Let’s get after it! 💥🏹

The U.S. Army Outdoors Team will be in London, Kentucky this week for the Archery Shooters Association Pro/Am! 🇺🇸

Not only will we be out on the range competing, but you can also find us hanging out at the U.S. Army booth in Vendor Village throughout the weekend.

Stop by, say hello, talk archery, and maybe even grab some Army swag while you’re there! We’re looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying an awesome weekend of competition and camaraderie at one of the biggest events of the year.

MSG Branch ran into a few decent ones yesterday keeping him in the hunt at the Open on . He is boat 135 and checks in at 3:40 cst today.

Major Gwen Murphy and Time Turner successfully completed their second Training Level Horse Trial, continuing to build consistency and improve their scores. This marks their second of six qualifying results as they progress toward moving up to the Preliminary level.

Time Turner, a six-year-old homebred Thoroughbred, is currently in his second year of eventing and showing promising development with each outing.

Stay tuned for upcoming training content, where we’ll share a behind-the-scenes look at how we develop a horse’s confidence and systematically introduce more complex questions as they advance in their training.
