Enlisted Assignment Update:
HRC is updating select enlisted assignments in IPPS-A to speed the process of Soldiers receiving orders and to increase predictability for Soldiers and their Families. Enlisted Soldiers on assignment, with a report date of 1 July 2023 or later, who have not already received a legacy order (old hard copy order) from their Military Personnel Division (MPD), will have their assignment changed in IPPS-A from a Permanent Change of Assignment (PCA - unfunded/no cost) move to a Permanent Change of Station (PCS - funded/cost) move. This impacts more than seven thousand assignment orders.
Using the above criteria for assignment orders processing will accelerate the transition of orders from legacy (old hard copy) to IPPS-A and allow for more rapid processing of assignments.
The PCA to PCS change will also result in notification to Soldiers of their PCA assignment being revoked (many of those notifications went out on 29-30 MAR).
Soldiers will receive a follow-up notification when placed back on PCS assignment with instructions to complete member elections in IPPS-A. HRC is working through these changes now and expects completion within the next week. The revocations are processing quickly within the system and Soldiers could receive new PCS assignments sooner than expected.
Enlisted Soldiers with report dates prior to 1 July 2023 that have not received an IPPS-A PCS order or legacy order should contact their MPD to be issued a legacy order.

Serving in our Combined Division is an Assignment of Purpose where you and your fellow Soldiers will excel in the profession of arms. This is the place where we must be ready all the time, because we are not looking for a NTC rotation, we are preparing to “Fight Tonight." It is not just a slogan, it’s the real deal. Knowing our essential role in this pivotal area of operations gives division teammates a purpose in our daily work and makes our contributions that much more meaningful.

What You’ll Get from 2ID/RUCD: Joining this combined team offers key development assignments, promotion opportunities throughout the division and on the peninsula, opportunities to apply for joint credit, and a unique experience working with the Republic of Korea Army, Korean Nationals, and KATUSAs (Korean Augmentees to the U.S. Army).

APPROACHING SUSPENSE! All enlisted Army personnel must update their Airborne duty preference in the ASK website by this Friday, September 23.

This is required for ALL enlisted Soldiers, regardless of their current airborne status (Airborne or Non‐Airborne) and only takes a few minutes - https://www.ask.army.mil/ASK/.

Soldiers have four options:
‐ Airborne Volunteer (I will move right now to jump)
‐ Airborne Duty Preferred (I want to jump but not until my next scheduled move)
‐ Non‐Airborne Duty Preferred (I’m willing to jump but not on my next assignment)
‐ Decline Airborne (leave me on the ground, please)

MOS or Branch specific questions should be directed to your Talent Manager. That information is available at:
https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/Enlisted%20Personnel%20Management%20Directorate%20
(EPMD) (CAC or DS Login required).

The first flight of the Comanche prototype took place 1996. Powered by two 1563hp engines coupled together the prototypes reached a max speed of 201mph or 323km/h. To maintain its stealth ability all the helicopters weapons were to be carried inside the fuselage. Sadly like the state of the art Cheyenne the ever increasing costs of the Comanche and a number of other factors resulted in its cancellation in 2004.
