The ASK-EM 21-01 market will close at midnight tomorrow, 8 Dec.
Please inform your NCOs moving during the 21-01 EMC, who have not submitted preferences in ASK-EM, to please do so IMMEDIATELY!

After three weeks of market operations, 6,579 (83%) of the 7,894 NCOs in the 21-01 ASK-EM market have visited the website. Of those, 5,362 (68%) personnel have submitted their preferences.

EPMD has identified 1,315 (17%) NCOs in the market who have yet to login and visit ASK-EM. The SSG grade plate, across all MOSs, could really use a boost in ASK-EM participation. Soldiers who do not submit preferences in ASK-EM will lose his/her vote on their next assignment.

Again, the ASK-EM 21-01 Market is focused on assignments with report dates between July 2021 and October 2021 and NCOs with YMAVs (Year/Month Available to Move) between July 2021 and October 2021.

Good evening. We have received some messages about the FY21 SFC Evaluation Board My Board File (MBF) that closes tonight. Currently, the website is experiencing an overload of traffic due to the amount of Soldiers going in to MBF to certify on the last day. Many have been able to get in to certify, but there are some who are still in line.

For clarity, the certification of your board file will NOT affect how your file is voted or reviewed by board members. The ability to certify MBF is for the individual Soldier so that they can review their own file and make corrections within the 60 days that MBF is open. The board members will NOT be given any identifying information to show which NCOs certified or did not certify.

Sorry for the inconvenience, please continue to contact us for any other MBF issues that you may encounter. Thank you.

SSD IV will be discontinued on 30 August 2020. Sergeants First Class who complete SSD IV prior to 30 August 2020 will receive credit completion of DLC IV and become fully qualified for MLC or USAFSNCO ALE. Master Sergeants who complete SSD IV prior to 30 August 2020 will not be required to complete DLC V and will become fully qualified for SMC attendance. If you have completed SSD IV, you must verify your ATRRS record.

UPDATE: There is glitch in the automated emails for the FY21 SFC Evaluation Board; we are working the issue. As long as the Soldier meets the criteria in MILPER 20-193 and 20-228 (amendment) and they are able to open their MBF, they are good to go.

It is imperative that you complete the Review Section within My Board File to the best of your knowledge and certify your board file.

The My Board File web site is a tool that allows you, as the candidate for an upcoming board, to review and certify your board documents. The documents presented are for display only. The board will see a candidate's My Board File, which is comprised of the, Record Brief, and documents from the performance section of the Army Military Human Resources Record (AMHRR). You cannot correct or alter the documents directly through the My Board File application. Therefore, if there is an error or missing documents in My Board File, you must first correct those items in your AMHRR, and TOPMIS/eMILPO, as applicable, in order for My Board File to be updated. MBF is back up for commercial use!

MBF is experiencing system degradation, currently the MBF can only be accessed from a .mil network. The HRC IT team is working diligently with outside network agencies to correct the system access restriction. The COL ACC CSL MBFs will be extended from closing on July 27th to the 29th. General information

The DA Secretariat conducts all Centralized Active Component, Reserve Component, Officer and Non-Commissioned Officer Selection Boards, providing administrative and technical support to selection in order to select the best qualified Officers and NCO's for promotion, command, and school. The DA Secretariat conducts over 250 boards each year. These include all Officer Promotion Boards from the grade of Chief Warrant Officer three through Major General, Centralized Selection List (CSL) boards for Lieutenant Colonel and Colonel Command and Key Billets, and school Boards to select eligible Officers to attend intermediate Level Education and Senior Service College. The DA Secretariat also conducts Active Component and Army Reserve Active Guard (AG). It’s been 3 weeks since the last time it was asked, soooo, any word on the SFC OML? 😁
Any word on when the OML for the FY21 SFC evaluation board will be posted?
Any idea on when the results for the FY21 SFC Evaluation Board will be publish? Or is it to early to know?

Is the board file portal down again? I keep getting the "Internal Server Error" message.
When will the results of the QMP board will come out?
Several boards were delayed due to COVID. The initial word, was that promotions would not be delayed due to this situation. Does this mean that results of rescheduled boards are pushed out quicker? For example, my board was initially scheduled for April (I believe). However, it convened four months later (in July). Typically selections are announced this week for our group (RC MAJ AMEDD). Given that my board concluded at the end of July, is it fair to assume that promotions will actually be delayed by about four months, despite the "no delays" announcement?
