Fort Knox Sergeant Audie Murphy Club reporting for judging duty! The club volunterted at a high school drill competition featuring top JROTC teams from across the state—counties represented, cadences crisp, and competition fierce.

The precision was impressive… so much so that a few of us are now practicing our own facing movements in the mirror tonight. (Spoiler: We still need work.) 😂

Huge thanks to these young Soldiers-in-training and their instructors. Events like this remind us why we do what we do.

Today, members of the Fort Knox Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, alongside representatives from U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, 83rd U.S. Army Reserve Readiness Training Center, participated in the annual wreath laying ceremony hosted by U.S. Army Cadet Command at Fort Knox Memorial Cemetery.

This solemn event provided an opportunity to honor our fallen heroes, recognize those who have served, and express gratitude to those who continue to serve our great nation. We remain committed to preserving their legacy through service, leadership, and remembrance.

From the Fort Knox Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. Please take time to check on your friends, family and loved ones during this time of year together, we remain stronger.

Phase IV ✅

🏅Congratulations to Staff Sergeant Khalil Charles, U.S. Army Human Resources Command.

Becoming a SAMA recipient is no easy feat. It is months, sometimes years of preparation yet, even with that level of dedication, not all candidates that try out for the long, demanding process are successful. This outstanding NCO was successful in their efforts to endure the long, lengthy process, and we couldn’t be more proud!

Induction Ceremony will be held soon! We will post the time and location as we draw closer.

Thank you to all the selfless leaders throughout the phases that committed their time and energy to assist in setting up/grading the AFT, Phase IV testing, boards, prepared the packets, reviewed documentation, set up study halls and mock boards to prepare.

Today SAMC Members and Candidates from U.S. Army Human Resources Command, U.S. Army Cadet Command, Fort Knox Garrison, and the 83rd U.S. ARRTC partnered with a local high school to lead team-building and communication activities.

Today, we honor the legacy of one of America’s most decorated combat veterans Audie Murphy, born June 20, 1925.

From humble beginnings to heroic service in WWII, Murphy's courage knew no bounds. Awarded the Medal of Honor at just 19, he embodied selfless service, sacrifice, and patriotism.
