The 2026 Army Outdoor Recreation (ODR) Hiking Challenge is your family’s chance to explore the outdoors, build healthy habits, and earn exclusive awards—all while taking part in an Army-wide MWR adventure!
From May 1 – September 30, 2026, grab your family, hit the trails, and log your hiking miles as you work toward earning commemorative hiking patches.

Choose the family/group option and combine your hiking distances as a team. One registration includes one custom T-shirt and one award set.
Eligible participant with the highest mileage can win a 3-night stay in Seoul or Germany at an AFRC!
