At just 14, Sydney Salas is proof that heart and talent know no age limit. A powerhouse vocalist who has taken on roles like Elle Woods in Legally Blonde Jr. and Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Sydney captivates every stage she steps on and she's bringing that same energy to SOFIA's Got Talent! 🎤✨

But Sydney's story goes far beyond the spotlight. After brain surgery at age 8 for Chiari Malformation, she turned her journey into purpose, founding Chiari's Little Warriors, publishing Coloring Through Chiari: Sydney's Story of Strength, and leading the organization's 4th annual Chiari walk in 2026. Add a first runner-up finish at Miss Florida to the list, and it's clear: Sydney performs with a purpose that reaches far beyond the footlights. 👑

Last week marked the first week of school for Broward County and thanks to partners like Gulfstream Early Learning Center, families walked in with one less worry on their minds. 🎒

Our team Valencia Tarvin-Stovall (Youth Services Manager) and Nadege Moncoeur (Companionship Services Case Manager) were on the ground making sure kids have the supplies they need to start the year off strong.

Because when families don't have to stress over school supplies, they can focus on what matters most: their children's success.
