New City Players, the new resident theater company at ArtServe, continue their forum series with Forum - The Artist's Voice this Friday, 7pm.

The Forum, which features Broward County Cultural Division's Director, Phillip Dunlap, is a free 2 hour event that includes a panel discussion, storytelling, short presentations, and Q&A followed by a time of public interaction and reflection.

Why do artist's create? How do they decide what to create? Does the content drive the form or the form drive the content or both? Are all artists activists? Should they be?

The New City Players first 2020 Forum - The Artist's Voice will feature arts leaders and practitioners including Art Prevails Project's Darius Daughtry and Phillip Dunlap, Director of Broward County Cultural Division, who will shed light on questions around what it means to be an artist and why it's so important.

This event is free and open to the public.
