Recently, staff from the Broward School Partnership, Broward Water Partnership, Marine Resources and NatureScape Broward attended the 2026 South Florida GIS Expo in West Palm Beach. 
We use GIS tools to drive solutions, track program effectiveness, and present impactful work to partners and the public.
Regional gatherings like GIS Expo allow us to share successes and participate in conversations about common challenges across the GIS community in South Florida. See you next year!

With lobster season in full swing, Broward County's Marine Resources team wants to remind you to pay attention to the "No Vessel Entry" buoys for YOUR safety and the safety of anyone who may be in the water.

The Marine Resources team were out in Hillsboro beach this afternoon (8/19) doing dune inspections when they spotted this misguided individual (registration number is blurred on purpose) boating way too close to shore. But please, by all means, if you know this person, remind them just like we don't drive our cars on sidewalks, we shouldn't drive our boats in the vessel exclusion zones.
