-Stay indoors or in shade during peak hours
-Dress in light, loose clothing
- Apply sunscreen
-Drink water often; don’t wait to be thirsty!
-Never leave kids in parked cars
-Watch for signs of heat illness

Join BARC's Food Drive and help us provide nourishment to residents in need throughout Broward County!

The Broward Addiction Recovery Center (BARC) Outreach Team is collecting non-perishable, easy-to-carry food items to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity during community outreach visits.
Every donation, big or small, helps us make a difference in someone's day.
Accepted items include protein bars, granola bars, trail mix, crackers, fruit cups, applesauce pouches, juice packets, and more.
Food donations will be collected at various Broward County Human Services divisions.
