How sweet it is! We are incredibly grateful to our amazing partner, Covelli Enterprises, for raising $8,634 through this year’s “Chip in for Children’s Mental Health” campaign! 🍪 Every single dollar raised from those delicious Panera Bread Chocolate Chipper cookies will go directly toward funding our vital mental health programs for young adults aging out of foster care. 🧠 Thank you to everyone who treated themselves for a good cause and helped make a lasting difference in the lives of the young people we serve! 🙌

In honor of National Foster Care Day, FLITE Center joined non-profit leaders with former foster care youth and State Representative Robin Bartleman and Senate Minority Leader Lori Berman at ChildNet Broward to announce a donation of 100 duffel bags for youth aging out of foster care. 🎒 We are so proud of FLITE Center youth Sofia Babrove and Arabia Isham for speaking at the conference and sharing why replacing trash bags with proper luggage is vital for a young person's dignity. ❤️ Thank you Sofia and Arabia. 👏 Read more about the event in the Sun Sentinel: https://www.sun-sentinel.com/2026/05/05/over-100-new-duffel-bags-donated-to-south-florida-foster-care-kid 📰
