I was honored to present President Anna Fusco and the Broward Teachers Union (BTU) with a Certificate of Appreciation! Recently, the BTU was instrumental in assisting our office by bringing a matter to our Broward County Property Appraiser Crimes Against Property Team’s attention that led to the arrest of an individual who is accused of stealing a senior’s home. Thank you President Fusco, Jennifer Leonard Gottlieb, Kenny Minchew and all the members of the Broward Teacher’s Union for the amazing work you all do for our teachers, students, school support staff and parents!

I was honored to speak to the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators! I was joined by members of our Broward County Property Appraiser Crimes Against Property Team and the Broward Sheriff's Office. We spoke about the success of our Owner Alert Program and the work we do holding criminals accountable who steal homes and commit property related crimes. Deed fraud is a national problem and we are thrilled to share our knowledge with other communities so they may also better protect their residents!
