The Command and General Staff College will hold the International Military Student Division Flag Ceremony August 17 in Eisenhower Auditorium at 10:30 a.m. to open the class of 2027. The Flag Ceremony reflects both a spirit of international cooperation and the vast breadth of knowledge and experience brought to the college by the class. Congratulations to Susan Plotner, Chief Librarian for Army University at Fort Leavenworth, on being named the 2025 Federal Librarian of the Year by the Library of Congress' Federal Library and Information Network (FEDLINK).

Susan received this national honor for her leadership in modernizing the Army University Library System, including the successful migration of more than 750,000 records while maintaining uninterrupted library services across 16 Army libraries.

Her dedication to supporting Army education and lifelong learning continues to make a lasting impact across the force. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
