The event – using the theme “Evolution of our Army: 247 Years of Change” – featured Daniel Caughey as guest speaker. He is the director of the Quartermaster Museum. Caughey said this year’s theme reflects Army efforts to diversify. “The Army has changed over time, allowing more people to serve openly, and because of that, it has become a more effective fighting force,” he noted.
