Today, we're featuring the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps - serving the force since 1812, with roots tracing back to the Revolutionary War and sustaining Soldiers in every major conflict to today's multi-domain fight.

Ordnance Soldiers develop, supply, and maintain the Army's weapons systems and equipment, ensuring readiness across the force. With more than 36,000 Soldiers currently service, the Ordnance Corps is projected to become the second largest branch in the U.S. Army. Recent updates include approval of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Multi-Domain operations Force Design Update (FDU), the creation of the Operational Support Company structure, and the launch of the Army Technician Badge, shaping the next generation of Army technicians.
