School 2 had their annual Field Day filled with fun, team work, & school spirit! 💛🦅🖤

The School 2 PTA was able to provide special Field Day T-Shirts 👕💜💛💚💙🧡❤️🩶 to all grades, teachers & staff. PTA volunteers were also there throughout the day cheering on our students & keeping everyone refreshed at the water station with fresh ice-cold water, also provided by the PTA. 🧊💦

Thank you to Mr. Park, Mr. M., all other teachers, staff & volunteers who worked so hard behind-the-scenes to make this possible for our students. What a fun-filled event at School 2!

In honor of Memorial Day, the School 2 PTA placed American flags around our school as a tribute to the brave men & women who served & sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

As we enjoy this holiday weekend, we remember & honor those who gave their lives protecting our freedoms. May these flags serve as a symbol of gratitude, remembrance, & respect for our fallen heroes. ❤️🤍💙

🧡🖤 Fort Lee High School Academic & Service Awards 🖤🧡

Last night, the School 2 PTA had the honor of attending the Fort Lee High School Academic & Service Awards Ceremony Banquet at The Fiesta. Each year, we proudly award college scholarships to outstanding former School 2 students who continue to excel both academically & within their communities.

This year, we were excited to present three $1,000 scholarships to:

🌟 Lily Ciardiello

These exceptional students have gone above & beyond through their academic excellence, leadership, dedication to community service, & commitment to hard work.

Last night, Fort Lee 🧡🖤 came out to the Yankee Stadium for a game against the Toronto Blue Jays & the Yankees came in with the win! ⚾️💙🏟️

School 2 💛🖤 was proud to represent & we hope everyone had an incredible time parading the field & receiving their exclusive Fort Lee x Yankee baseball jerseys!

Dear SEPAG Families,

We hope you will join us for our upcoming virtual SEPAG meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM!

SEPAG is such a special part of our school community because it brings families together to connect, support one another, share ideas, and help make a difference for students. Whether you attend every meeting or are thinking about joining for the first time, we would truly love to see you there!

This month’s meeting will include:
✨ A presentation on the importance of student attendance
✨ Helpful strategies and ideas for supporting Occupational Therapy (OT) skills at home
✨ SEPAG leadership nominations and candidate speeches for the 2026–2027 school year

We are currently accepting nominations for:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Parents may nominate themselves or nominate another eligible parent for a leadership position. Candidate speeches and introductions will take place during the May 20th meeting.

SEPAG only works because of parent involvement and community. The ideas, energy, support, and advocacy that families bring are what make this group meaningful and successful. If you have ever wanted to become more involved, help other families, or have a voice in shaping our SEPAG community, we encourage you to consider participating.

Please do not feel that you need special experience or expertise—just a willingness to participate, collaborate, and care about our students and families.

As a reminder, in accordance with SEPAG bylaws, leadership positions are held by voting members, which include parents/guardians of students ages 3–21 who receive special education services through an IEP or 504 Plan in the Fort Lee Public School District.

The School 2 PTA was excited to sponsor a special visit from What's Out There LLC & their traveling planetarium! 🌎🔭💫

Students had the opportunity to explore the galaxy & solar system through an interactive educational experience. During the presentation, they learned about planets, stars, & constellations, discovered what the night sky will look like that night, & even learned how to spot different constellations & planets in the sky. 🌠🪐🌌

It was an exciting experience that inspired curiosity & encouraged our students to learn more about the wonders of space! ☄️🔭🌟🚀
