Join us as history comes to life at Fort Lee Historic Park!

The Brigade of the American Revolution will present a Revolutionary War 250th Living History Program on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Experience an exciting day featuring approximately 70–100 Revolutionary War reenactors as they bring the past to life with military drills, marching, tactical demonstration, and musket firing demonstrations.

Today, at Fort Lee Historic Park, the Palisades Interstate Park Commission proudly joined more than 1,115 locations across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. territories, the U.S. Minor Outlying Islands, and communities around the world for the nationwide "Sharing the Spirit of America" program.

At 6:00 p.m. EDT, participants came together in a simultaneous public reading of the Declaration of Independence, commemorating the 250th Anniversary of its first public reading on July 8, 1776.
