Community Information Meetings – Learn More About Proposed November 2026 Ballot Measures

Weld Re-8 School District is considering two funding proposals for the November 2026 ballot:

A Mill Levy Override (MLO) to help reduce teacher turnover, attract and retain high-quality staff, and expand educational programming for students.
A Bond Measure to support districtwide facility improvements, including a new secure entry and expanded Career and Technical Education (CTE) space at Fort Lupton High School, as well as deferred maintenance projects at all school buildings throughout the district.

Community members are invited to attend an information meeting to learn more about these proposals, ask questions, and provide feedback.

With the restructure of the District Office and a savings of $175,000, we have been able to invest in and hire these outstanding individuals who bring exceptional experience, leadership, and commitment to serving our students, staff, and families.

🍎 Summer Feeding Program Announcement 🍎

Weld Food Bank will be hosting the Summer Feeding Program from May 26 through August 7, providing both breakfast and lunch.

Meals will be served at Fort Lupton High School and are open to all children 18 years and under.

We are grateful for this partnership in supporting our students and families this summer!
